When you choose French’s Point for your wedding, it’s more than one special day—you’re gifting yourselves and your guests an entire immersive weekend by Maine’s coast. From sunrise yoga on the lawn to post-reception fire-pit conversations, our estate offers the perfect blend of celebration and serenity. Here’s how to make the most of every moment.

The True Private-Retreat Experience
Tucked into 15 acres of ocean-front estate, French’s Point invites you and your guests to arrive early, stay late, and settle into a slower, more meaningful pace. Whether you’re lounging on a deck, playing yard games, or letting the tide roll in from your private beach, the venue becomes your own coastal hideaway—not just a place to tie the knot.

Recreation
Keep the energy fun, inclusive, and multi-generational with activities everyone can enjoy:

• Terraces for Yoga or Pilates for a restorative start to the day
• Beach Volleyball with the best ocean backdrop around.
• Yard games on the recreation lawn—horseshoes, bocce, cornhole, and giant Jenga.
• Rolling lawns for a Field Day or Color Wars Competitions with tug of war, three-legged or sack races, egg toss, scavenger hunts, & wiffleball.
• Bicycles & helmets for guests who want to explore.
• Game rooms in the Retreat House (pool table and poker) and Beach House (ping-pong and poker) for relaxed indoor fun.
• Kayaks or paddleboards can be brought by guests or rented nearby for those who want to explore the bay.
• Sandy Point State Park Trails for a serene stroll through the forest & along the shore.

These amenities help keep the weekend lively and connected—because some of the best memories often happen between the big moments.

Spaces to Unplug & Connect

Between events, invite your guests to slow down and soak in the surroundings:

• Relax on the decks, terraces, and lawns—South Terrace, East Terrace, West Terrace, Beach House deck—all with lounge seating and panoramic bay views.
• Gather around one of six fire pits for late-night conversation, s’mores, or stargazing.
• Enjoy three private beaches & swim platform, complete with towels and lounge chairs for morning walks or an afternoon swim.
