Four Season Wedding Show — A first-time event that’s sure to be inspirational, relaxing and fun for both brides and grooms
If you’re a newly engaged couple jumping into the planning phase of your wedding and feeling a little bit overwhelmed, we’re hosting a great new event at French’s Point designed to be intimate, relaxing and inspirational. If you’re not familiar with French’s Point, it’s one of Maine’s most beautiful and spectacular coastal wedding venues, perfect for every ceremony and reception in any season. So get away from the big bridal shows and join us for our Four Season Wedding Show on Saturday, February 19th from 2 to 6 p.m. in Stockton Springs, Maine. And the best news is that this show is free. Let us know you would like to attend by calling 207-567-3650.
This show is a great opportunity for couples and their families to make a fun, mid-winter weekend escape to Mid-Coast Maine and imagine the possibilities for their wedding in every season. We’ve invited a select group of vendors — almost 30 of the best Maine has to offer — to be on hand to help couples explore ideas and offer advice. Every hour guests will enjoy tasty food and beverages as well as presentations and demonstrations to reflect one of the four seasons.
In addition to meeting with vendors, tasting and sipping seasonal treats, the afternoon event will offer mini spa services (by reservation) in the bridal suite, ballroom dance demonstration and instruction, live musical performances, s’ mores by the fire pits on the terrace and sleigh rides. Finally, the event will culminate with a live fireworks display and a sparkler send-off similar to what many brides experience at French’s Point at the conclusion of their big day.
There are also some great door prizes and show specials planned for the day. The event grand prize will be a large lobster claw designer bag from Sea Bags, a nationally recognized Maine company which makes handmade bags from recycled sails, filled with goodies from Dean’s Sweets, The Good Kettle and Coastal Maine Popcorn Co. as well as a certificate for a lobster bake for six people provided by French’s Point. The grand prize is valued at approximately $1,000. Many other vendors are also planning door prizes and show specials for guests to take home after the event or use on their wedding day. To learn more about these prizes and specials, visit the French’s Point Facebook page over the next few weeks for updates.
The Belfast Comfort Inn and The Belfast Bay Inn & Suites are both offering discounted room rates for the weekend. To get the discount be sure to mention the French’s Point Four Season Wedding Show. The Belfast Comfort Inn can be reached at (207) 338-2090. To contact the Belfast Bay Inn & Suites, call 207-338-5600.
