The spring months are a beautiful time at French’s Point, with the fruit trees just starting to bloom and a cool nip lingering in the air before the summer heat sets in. Here’s just one idea for a perfect spring wedding day:
High Tea Afternoon Reception
10 a.m. Bridal party arrives for a light brunch on the private deck of our waterfront bridal suite
12:30 p.m. Guests arrive by old-fashioned trolley
1 p.m. Ceremony held on the beach or at the gazebo
1:30 p.m. A round of lawn games and cocktails. Sip mimosas over a game of croquet, or balance a mint julep in one hand and a badminton racket in the other.
2:30 p.m. Spring luncheon buffet
4 p.m. Cake cutting, with coffee and tea served. A dance around a maypole for the kids.
5 p.m. Bride and groom depart in a 1936 Buick with guests blowing bubbles as a send off
