Greet Your Guests with a Warm Maine Welcome
Small, but sturdy Maine-made carry-all.
Show your guests you’re thrilled to have them at French’s Point to make your special day unforgettable – greet them with a special collection of quintessentially Maine provisions. Start with a small yet sturdy L.L.Bean Boat and Tote Bag ($24.95), the Maine-made carry-all. Add local treats like Lucy’s Granola to ward off hunger between meals. Made just a stone’s throw up the coast in East Blue Hill, all five flavors are both tasty and wholesome ($15 for 5, 4-ounce snack packs). Savory Little Lad’s Herbal Popcorn makes a welcome late-afternoon snack ($3.99, 5 oz.). Sweeten the deal with heavenly chocolates from Portland-based, Dean’s Sweets or Black Dinah Chocolates. To quench a thirst, add a bottle of Poland Spring water ($1.20; 20 oz.).
Add a Seabags Wristlet for some nautical flair that’s fitting for Maine’s bold coast.
As they explore the scenic French’s Point grounds and nearby Belfast, your guests will appreciate sun protection from Mad Gabs Blueberry Lip Saver ($3), made with soothing all-natural ingredients like beeswax and olive oil.
Next, add a jaunty Sea Bags wristlet ($35), with nautical flair that’s fitting for Maine’s bold coast. Made on Portland’s waterfront from recycled sails, your guests will put it to good use corralling small belongings during their stay.

Finally, pop in a keepsake. Erin Flett’s Anchor Soy Candles ($35) are crafted and hand-poured in Westbrook, with a fresh sage-sandalwood scent that smacks of the Maine outdoors. (Bonus: guests can re-use the silk-screened glass container for drinks or to store treasures found on nearby Sandy Point Beach.)
