General, Host Liquor Liability & Wedding Insurance

Within 30 days of reserving French’s Point, please send a copy of your wedding insurance policy to nicole.frenchspoint@gmail.com. For more details on the requirements of this request, please refer to your contract.

General & Host Liquor Liability Insurance can be acquired online at theeventhelper.com or be obtained as a rider on your homeowner’s insurance policy. Once obtained, please submit proof of insurance to nicole.frenchspoint@gmail.com no later than 1 month prior to your arrival. For more information on this requirement, please reference your French’s Point Contract.

How To Extend Your Stay

In addition to the minimum stay, you can add consecutive nights to the start of your stay reserved in a single home at the lodging rate listed in your contract. Please confirm your stay extension no later than 30 days prior to your celebration.

For safety & sanitary reasons, swapping of guest rooms is not permitted between nights & all bed linens/towels need to be laundered professionally by our staff. Please plan your stay extensions accordingly. Thank you for your understanding.

How To Collect Lodging Payments

As would be anticipated with a vacation rental reservation, hosts set & collect a lodging rate for their guests to contribute toward the expense of the accommodation associated with their reservation of the estate. This can be based on the per person/weekend or per suite/weekend. As a host, you decide what works best for you and your guests. If you are collecting lodging payments for your guests, the payment schedule in your current invoice with us is accurate.

If you wish to have French’s Point collect lodging payments directly from your guests, the due date for lodging is due 200 days prior to check-in along with a $500 Administrative Fee. 230 days prior to check-in, we would need to receive confirmation if you would like to proceed with this service and we will send you the Lodging Collection Form to complete to issue invoices to your guests.

Room Assignments

Click on the link & download the word document to fill out your guest room assignment sheet. Please submit this document to nicole.frenchspoint@gmail.com no later than 2 weeks prior to your arrival. She will print & hang these documents in the Welcome Center of each home & write each guest’s first name on chalkboard signs that hang on each guest suite prior to your arrival to help assist with self-check-in.

Welcome Centers

Located in the entryway of each home, is a Welcome Center to assist your guests with self-check-in & provide your guests with local resources.

Sitting Service & Family Rentals

Midcoast Family Rentals is a family-owned business that services family rental equipment for your overnight guests, children attending your celebration & they contract sitters to watch your little ones during your events. Please contact them no later than 1 month prior to your reservation to reserve their services.

Golf Cart Rentals

You are welcome to rent golf carts for the duration of your stay through Goudreau & Sons Golf Carts, LLC. If you do so, please inform us & schedule their delivery & pickup times during your rental term.

For your safety, we ask that golf carts be driven only on established gravel pathways, only by non-drinking guests & remain at low speeds at all times. Please do not drive during quiet hours. We reserve the right to take ownership of the keys if we see necessary.
