We have a number of fire pits at the estate. These areas are a wonderful element to enjoy during your weekend at French’s Point. They can enhance the experience and offer the opportunity to create cozy, meaningful moments, & who doesn’t love freshly toasted, s’mores?!

Important Details to Keep in Mind When Using the Fire Pits
If you wish to use the fire pits, they are available outside of quiet hours. If you wish to use them during an event, then our staff will set, feed and extinguish the fire. If you wish to use them in the casual downtime between your events we will provide the supplies and you will light & extinguish the fires. In either case, your planner can indicate in your weekend itinerary which fire pits you which to use and when and we will be prepared to support your plans. We provide propane & firewood supplies for use.
Here are some additional things we suggest when utilizing the fire pits at French’s Point:
If you plan to arrive on Thursday, we suggest that you use the fire pits at the Farm House, to relax before the bulk of your guests arrive the next day.
On Friday, if you are hosting a rehearsal dinner on the gazebo promenade, or welcome reception at the Retreat House Cocktail Terrace, include plans to use the fire pit there to enjoy s’more & camaraderie after dinner.
If you are hosting your wedding reception in the tent, plan to have the bluff fire pit going after dinner so that guests can relax and enjoy the experience when they take a break from dining.
