French’s Point Hosts Maine Wedding Planner and Vendor Events

Last week we took some time to connect with some industry friends.  In the coming months, we will see many of those same faces at the events we host as we work together to produce events for our mutual clients, but there will be little time for quality conversations in those exchanges.

On Monday, we hosted the Second Annual Maine Wedding Planner Cooperative Retreat with six of our wonderful Maine-based wedding planner friends in attendance:  Catherine Fairbanks-Cliffe, new proprietress of Diane York’s Destination Maine Weddings, Lindsey Norton from L. Brook Events, Heather Cuzzi for Cairn Events, Amber Small of Sweetest Thing Weddings, Kristin Winters from Beehive Creative, and Heidi Brissette from Seacoast Harbor Events and SHE Luxe. Our friend Maria Northcott of the Maine Wedding Network and A Sweet Start, facilitated discussion for the group, we enjoyed dinner and a cozy overnight together at Beach Rose Farm.

On Tuesday, 100 of our favorite industry friends joined us for our Annual French’s Point Preferred Vendor Networking Event inside the Estate House.  Our CEO/Owner, Jessika Brooks-Brewer explained the importance of community & quality communication in the Maine Wedding Industry and the impact we have on each other’s businesses and on the clients we serve as well.  She invited the group to join her on her mission to continue to raise the bar of customer service in the wedding industry in Maine.  We enjoyed great company, good friends, delicious food and sunny skies that day… It was a great way to share our excitement about the busy season ahead.
